Traveling to the East Coast of Florida is never disappointing.  There are many beautiful places to visit and one of them is the T.M. Goodwin Waterfowl Management area located in Fellsmere.  Extensive freshwater marshes create the perfect habitat for diverse and abundant wetland wildlife. In addition to Bobcats and Northern River Otters, nature lovers may also see Limpkin, Purple Gallinule, Wood Stork, Black-necked Stilt, both night-herons, Roseate Spoonbill, Snail Kites, and Northern Harrier.  White Pelicans, sometimes by the hundreds, winter here and are always beautiful to observe.  As a Wildlife and Nature photographer, I especially appreciate the opportunity to photograph all of the animals and birds here in a peaceful environment.  Vehicular access is permitted only two days of the week making for an exceptionally quiet and pristine environment for those willing to walk or bike.
