I am a professional photographer whose images include people, pets, wildlife, nature, and landscapes. Fueled by a passion for the outdoors, and a deep love of people and nature, I enjoy taking and sharing images that speak to God's creations and life's beauty. Whether it be a charming cottage, a towering waterfall, or a child's beautiful smile, photography provides an opportunity to appreciate the finest details in life and to chronicle moments in time that might otherwise be forgotten.
A Tampa bay resident since 1987 my background includes serving in the medical corp. of the U.S. Navy, working as a law school administrator, and founding and directing an all-volunteer K-9 Search and Rescue/Recovery Unit. I have been blessed with a wonderful husband of 18 years and an amazing son of whom I am exceptionally proud. Our household is never without dogs (at one time we had five) and currently we are happy to share our home with Remington, a German Shepherd, and Pele, a wonderful mix of everything perfect. Both dogs are "Rescues" who I can honestly say also rescued us. Fostering and Adopting from rescue organizations is especially important to me and I stay active in assisting with both whenever possible. As a member and sponsor of Pasco Horsemen's Association I am involved in many Equestrian activities (horses are new to me) where I can generally be found photographing these spectacular animals and their riders from the sidelines. Having the opportunity to be a part of this wonderful organization makes my heart happy.
In addition to photographing special moments in the lives of others, I aspire to capture and present images of wildlife and nature that both educate and encourage viewers to participate in the preservation of endangered species. Should we wish for future generations to experience the natural world that we do today, it is crucial that we all contribute to the initiative to protect wildlife and preserve the habitats that they call home.
