Choosing the right photographer for your portrait or event will ensure that your most precious memories are preserved for generations to come. At Sharon Avila Photography we know how important it is to capture those memorable moments with the people you love. Whether it be an in-studio photoshoot, or a large-scale event, we offer personalized photography services to commemorate those special milestones in your life with creative and inspiring photographs. From traditional portraits to innovative composites, we offer a diverse selection of packages to choose from.
YOUR SESSION
When you book with us, a consultation will be scheduled to discuss the vision that you have for your session/event. During our discussion I will provide you with information regarding the selection of wardrobe, answer any questions you may have regarding what to expect, and offer suggestions on the best location and time for your photoshoot. Shortly after we speak, you can expect to receive a digital "Style Guide" emailed to you to assist you in preparing yourself and/or your family members for a memorable and successful photo shoot.
TIME INVOLVED: Most sessions last from 1-2 hours depending on wardrobe changes, etc. We request that you arrive promptly and that you call if you are running late. If we have not heard from you, and more than fifteen minutes have passed, we will assume that you are not coming.
CANCELLATION/RESCHEDULING: Should you wish to cancel or reschedule we ask that you provide us with a minimum notice of twenty-four hours. We completely understand if less time is given for unexpected illness, emergencies or inclement weather.
LOCATIONS: Your session can be scheduled either in our studio or at a location(s) of your choice. Based on the type of shoot you are booking we can offer suggestions on the best locations and time of day. A fee of $65.00 will be added for any location that is beyond 15 miles (one-way) from my studio.
RE-SHOOTS: Re-shoots are available upon request and will NOT incur an additional session fee. It is my goal to provide you with images that you are exceptionally happy with. I cannot offer a re-shoot however, that is based on a client's dissatisfaction with their choice of wardrobe, hair/makeup styles, etc.
RETOUCHING: All images will be edited to include color correction, blemish removal, skin softening and cropping. Should your photographs require extensive editing, a nominal fee of $75.00 will be added that will include all the images. Editing to physical characteristics (for example, birthmarks) will be done only at the request of the client.
OTHER IMAGING DEVICES: We respectfully request that you dissuade anyone who attends the session with you from taking photographs during the photoshoot. This can be distracting and will slow down the session.
YOUR IMAGES
During your photo session/event, a large collection of images will be captured. These images will be carefully reviewed by the photographer and those that are duplicates or do not meet our quality standard will be permanently removed. This selection process of only the highest quality photographs will ensure that you receive a custom portrait package that captures and reflects your best moments.
Within one week after your session/event your proofs will be available for you to view in an on-line, password protected gallery. You can share this password with your family and friends so that they can place their own orders. The gallery will be available for two weeks.
You can expect to receive several full resolution images to choose from. The longer the timeframe of your session or event, the more proofs you can expect to receive. Upon your review and selection, you will receive 12 fully edited digital images for each hour of your session. These images are included in your session fee. Additional images can be purchased for $20.00 each.
All digital images will be delivered to you by email. If you prefer that they be mailed to you on a thumb drive, a fee of $35.00 will be added to your order.
INVESTMENT
Packages and quotes can be tailored to fit your budget. Although each session or event is customized differently, the following is a general overview of what you can expect to invest:
Anniversary - $250.00 per hour - Time is based on the type of event and the hours that you have scheduled.
Couples - $250.00 per hour - Average time is one hour with one outfit in one location.
Engagement/Proposal - $250.00 per hour - Average time is one hour in one location with one to two outfits.
Events - $250.00 per hour - Time is based on the type of event and the hours that you have scheduled.
Family Portraits up to six people - $300.00 per hour - Average time is two hours.
Family Portraits with six or more people - $350.00 per hour - Average time is two to three hours.
Individual Portraits/Headshots - $200.00 per hour - Average time is one hour with one to two outfits.
Maternity - $250.00 per hour - Average time is one hour with one to two outfits.
Pets - $250.00 per hour - Average time is one hour in one location.
Should your photoshoot or event extend beyond the original time planned, you will be billed in half hour increments.
In order to ensure that your date is reserved on my calendar, a 50% deposit is required when you book with us. The balance will be due at the time of the session/event.
Location shoots more than 15 miles (one way) from my studio will incur an additional charge of $65.00.

As an animal lover and former K9 Handler/Trainer I have a special affinity and talent for photographing ALL pets. Armed with patience and a toolkit of motivational techniques, I can work with both active and timid pets to capture images that best reflect their individual beauty and personality.
Taking into consideration your pet's safety and comfort first and foremost, I will create a relaxed atmosphere where they are able to exhibit their unique character, charm and spirit. Whether it be in-studio, at your home, or at your favorite park/beach, I will prepare a "PETfolio" that you can treasure for a lifetime. There is NEVER an extra charge for additional family members (either two or four-legged) so feel free to get the entire family involved!
I offer traditional portraits as well as fine art, creative composites and pet memorials. In addition to an extensive variety of backgrounds, colors, and themes, pets can also be composited into different backgrounds.
